1. Jake: “One life ends…another begins.”

As one of the first lines in the movie, this AVATAR movie quote carries a heavy meaning. The line is spoken while Jake is talking about his deceased brother. Jake is about to head to Pandora in place of his sibling, effectively starting a new life which, at this point in the film, he can’t begin to comprehend.

2. Colonel Quaritch: “Every living thing that crawls, flies or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes for Jujubes.”

Upon his initial introduction to the planet, Jake listens as Col. Quaritch warns the other military men and women about the dangers of Pandora. This affects Jake’s first impression upon venturing into surrounding environment and accurately portrays the Colonel’s negative feelings about the planet and Na'vi.

3. Jake: “I’m a warrior…of the Jarhead clan.”

As one of the more humorous among AVATAR movie quotes, this line is spoken when Jake first meets the Na'vi tribe. This description is his attempt to describe human relationships in the same way as the Na'vi describe them.

4. Neytiri: “…And you may choose a woman.”
Jake: “But I've already chosen. But this woman must also choose me.”
Neytiri: “She already has.”

Because of its significance to the love story in the film, this abridged version is one of the more popular AVATAR movie quotes. In this scene, Jake and Neytiri finally admit their feelings for one another.

5. Jake: “I was a warrior who dreamed he could bring peace. Sooner or later though, you always have to wake up.”

This line is part of Jake’s reflection on his experience in Pandora. It holds a deeper meaning though; he is repeating a line he first said at the beginning of the film where he said he eventually had to wake up from his dreams of flying that he used to have when he first lost the ability to walk.

6. Jake: “Sometimes your whole life boils down to one insane move.”

This AVATAR movie quote is pivotal in Jake’s decision to fight with the Na'vi, something he never thought he would be doing when he first came to Pandora.

7. Jake: “The Sky People have sent us a message: that they can take whatever they want. That no one can stop them. Well, we will send them a message: that they cannot take whatever they want! And that this...this is our land!”

This excerpt from Jake’s speech to the Na'vi has become one of the more iconic AVATAR movie quotes. The language he uses in this monologue is powerful and exemplifies that Jake truly identifies with the Na'vi.

8. Colonel Quaritch: “Hey Sully... how does it feel to betray your own race? You think you're one of them? Time to wake up!”

This AVATAR movie quote also hearkens back to the idea of waking up from something which Jake mentions a few times earlier in the film. The Colonel remains completely biased against the Na'vi, considering Jake to be a traitor to his own race.

9. Jake: “She said all energy is only borrowed, and one day you have to give it back.”

Jake is recounting what Neytiri has told him about the Na'vi way of life. This AVATAR movie quote sums up how different the view of the Na'vi is from that of the humans, who only wish to take from the environment rather than care for it.

Neytiri: “I see you.”

These AVATAR movie quotes actually appear in several places throughout the film. The last time they are used, however, is during a particularly poignant part of the movie where Neytiri saves Jake and really “sees” him for the first time, which refers to the deeper meaning of the world “see” held by the Na'vi.

Jake: I became a Marine for the hardship. Told myself that I can pass any test a man can pass. All I ever wanted was a single thing worth fighting for. - I really like this like because it perfectly describes Jake's attitude and hardship. And who come up with an idea that Avatar is anti-military?
That's, in fact, one of the most pro-military quotes I've ever heard. The question is: can you be pro-military and disobey the orders of corrupt corporations? Ok...off topic here :)
