What are all the differences between human and Na’vi bodies that you’ve noticed?

Ostensibly, the Na'vi and Humans have very noticeable differences. For example, height, skin color, markings and luminescent dot patterns. The dot patterns appear to be as distinguishable (on each Na'vi) as fingerprints are on humans.
Other differences involve the digit count on fingers and toes...humans have a digit count of five (5) per hand and five (5) per foot., the Na'vi, however have four(4). The Na'vi's big toe is, also, oppose able.....for gripping.
Body hair..., the Na'vi only have their full head of hair and some appear to have eyelashes. While, the humans have hair on many body parts.
Tails....Na'vi have them, humans don't. The movement of the Na'vi tails seem to reflect their moods....much like cats on Earth.
Ears....Na'vi have pointed, larger ears than humans. The ears, also, reflect moods and can be directed toward a specific sound.
Eyes....Na'vi eyes are yellow (to allow more light to enter)
Noses....are as individual to each Na'vi as human noses are to human faces. However, for the most part, Na'vi noses are noticeably broader and flatter than humans.
Na'vi experience the same 5 senses as humans....they just seemed to be more heightened (with the Na'vi).

Humans breathe oxygen, the atmosphere on Pandora is toxic to humans.
Humans (Sky People) are the aliens on Pandora.....This land belongs to the Na'vi.

The NAVI:

SKIN COLOR: Blue with darker blue stripes compariable to a tiger or a zebra markings.
DARK HAIR: Different styles I noticed. Some had braids throughout with beading, the "queue" was most promiment since it serves as a "bond"(Tsaheylu) with creatures and other Na'vi. Some of the scalps were shaved and hair was braided into a "flat Mohawk" style. Feathers were sometimes placed in the hair. The only person I noticed that had their hair completely out of braids and free flowing was Neytiri when her and Jake exchanged their first kiss at the Tree of Voices.
EYES: Large golden eyes
TAIL: Expressed emotions and perhaps a source of balance.
EARS:Pointed and als expresses emotions in the movement.
BODY: Waist is narrow and elongated. The shoulders are very wide, creating a V-shaped upper back. The neck is long and body slender. Even though thin looking, the Navi are very muscular.
SKELETON: is reinforced with naturally occurring carbon fiber.
FINGERS AND TOES:Na’vi have four fingers on each hand including opposable thumbs and four toes on each foot including opposable big toes.
NO BODY HAIR: Except perhaps they have beautiful eyelashes.
INCREDIBLE BALANCE AND STRENGTH.
NOSES: Not all are the same and almost cat-like underneath with the different texture and the pink color.
FACES or FACE SHAPE: Triangular faces are a prominent but they are as individual as humans.

Truly the most beautiful and fascinating creatures I have ever seen.

Aside from the obvious (blue, 6 ft tall), Na'vi possess: tail, pointy ears, bioluminescent skin, uniquely stripped skin, bones reinforced with carbon fiber, larger eyes, lankier and skinnier frame yet very muscular, a nose much more similar to a cats than our own, an almost opposable big toe which is spaced much farther apart from the rest, and most importantly the all important nerve ending called a queue. Which is without a doubt the most fascinating of their features. To have this would be to experience a range of sensation, emotion and understanding we simply can't grasp.
Now for what they lack: eyebrows, a 5th finger (Na'vi only have 4), eyelashes (except Neytiri!), a 5th toe (again only 4), any body hair of any kind, a wide range of hair color (not fact but so far it's how it seems), and a wide range of body types (not fact but once again just how it seems).
Lastly, for all our differences, humans and Na'vi are alike in all the most important ways, and that is what's especially amazing.

The main difference is their gravity. I know that sounds odd, but its true. First, I'm going to explain about gigantism in humans which directly relates to the issue of gravity. I swear that I have a point if you could bare with me for a few sentences. Compared with a normal sized human, a person who has gigantism generally does not live very long. Its simply because they are too large; usually the heart and circulatory system are the main culprits. A human heart can only grow so much before it begins to not pump blood effectively. It has to be much larger than normal in order to get oxygen to every corner of the body and when a body is 7 to 8 feet tall, it must also work harder to go against gravity. Now on to my actual point! The gravity on Pandora is much lower than on Earth, as Quatrich told us as he was lifting weights near the beginning of the movie. That low gravity has allowed the Na'vi to grow much taller than humans. They simply don't have as much force to work against; however, they would still have a problem. No matter the size of a human(oid) body, a larger than normal heart just doesn't work as well. I believe that is why the Na'vi are so slender. A large body mass usually equals a large heart and obese people tend to have larger hearts.
Whew! That is my explanation as to why gravity is a main difference. To help balance such a tall, slender figure, a tail would be required. To ensure that something so tall and thin won't be fragile, heavy reinforcement is necessary. Calcium intertwined with carbon is a perfect solution.
After gravity, perception is the biggest difference. With their large eyes, broadened noses, predatory ears and unique queues, they are able to pick up so much more sensory data than we could ever imagine.
They also have no body hair (most likely because Pandora is very warm and none of the other creatures have fur or feathers, which are used to trap heat; the only reason they have hair on their heads would be to protect the tops of their heads from the sun since they're always facing it and their hair is black only because black hair is more effective at blocking and reflecting the rays of the sun than any other color), are striped with bioluminescent cells (this would help them blend in with their surroundings and enable them to not be seen by prey; the bioluminescence also does this and can help them convey emotion) and are blue (my favorite color) .

Now I know how unfair these contests can be. I never win something. Always because I'm too young (17 almost 18 on oktober 9) and that only a specific kind of group can participate. This is just so bad.

What are all the differences between human and Na’vi bodies that you’ve noticed?
Body: Humans are about 1,80 meters I'm guessing. Na'vi are four times bigger as they gain a hight of 4 meters long. I do read that females are often smaller then males. They grow to about 3 meters.
Body structure: head: The humans are as we know normal. They ahev a normal nose,ears and the rest. Na'vi have differents. The na'vi have a more cat like face structure. Pointed ears, teeth with pointed front teeth, a nose flattened with nose holes to the side and the sensetive part all in front like a cat. No nose hairs though. /\_/\ They all have a long hairtail on the back of their head that functions as a shield to protect the nerve ending that grows out of their crown. Humans really don't have that! Humans have different kind of eye color but what they don't have are yellow colored eyes. na'vi all have bigger and yellow eyes probably to be able to see in the dark.
Legs: The legs of humans are almost as similair as the na'vi but just some small detailes they do have. Because the legs of the na'vi are longer, the muscles look a bit less big then the muscles of the legs od humans. But that's because the legs of the na'vi are long. This way the legs are strong but also very limber to move in the forest.
The rest: The rest of the body is just like humans but the centre of the body of the na'vi more slim. Then from the belly it gets more wide to the chest. like Jaguars you know! The inside of the body is almost the same but the structure of the bones are made from carbon fiber because of the different atmosphere they got. That way their bones are much stronger then that of humans. The inside of the body also has the same blood and color like you can see in the mouth and tongue. Only on the outside, the body of the na'vi have a different skin color. This blue skin color is included with stripes all over their body. From the legs to the head. But not only the na'vi has stripes and humans don't because they are all pink and brown, the na'vi have also lightened white points wich are seen as glowing when in the dark. This shows the connection they are able to talk with Eywa when bonded with their hairtail. The na'vi say that it is an energy lend from Eywa wich you give back when you die.
Hands: Humans have five fingers on each hand and also with the toese. Actually, we have four fingeres and a thumb, like my father said: You don't have five fingers but four and a thumb on each hand. So if you count your fingers then you count eight fingers instead of ten. Clever eh? The na'vi have three fingers and a thumb on each hand. Who knows, don't know if it's right but that could also mean that na'vi have only 4 toes each foot. :D
living: the na'vi live in trees, humans live in houses. The na'vi hunt to eat and live the rest of the day in harmony, humans just calls the pizaria to buy a pizza and sit while they watch football. The na'vi has a 100% respect on nature as they know that they cannot harm the place where they live. Humans are chopping 9 football fields(maybe even more) of rainforests to make paper, to make chairs, to make space when they are building something and to make their lives more comfertable while they don't think about other animals on the planet. Bit of a shame for the humans I would say. Included me and you if you read this! Other different things is that the na'vi has no body hair because they don't need it I think because of the weather. Only on the head because there the hair has a function. Protecting the nerves of outdoor danger!
The na'vi also has a very strong voice. When they call their Ikran or to scare of the enemy, they yell a high frequency that pretty much can hurt in human ears. Eyebrows are not on na'vi faces because it's part of the body hair wich humans do have. Instead, they got stripes that shows like eyebrows. Oh one more thing about the face: the cheekbones are higher then humans have.
The best different thing I like about the na'vi is that they have a tail above and between their bottum. A nice clean long tail that has a hairbush pointed in the end. This is for their balance if they run over trees and stuff. I wish I had a tail too. It looks ace to me!

Contrary to what Fiyerwall said, black would be very ineffective at reflecting the rays of the sun. It would be in fact the worst color to do so because black does not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum... that's why it's "black!" :) That would be fine for the navi however because their weather always seems to be overcast so they wouldn't have to worry about getting a sunburn on their head. Aside from the main visible differences such as hair, blue skin, bioluminescence, tall, slender build, tails, eyes, etc. the navi seem to be a lot more perceptive than humans. On the other hand, humans seem more intelligent. For example, the humans have the intelligence and tenacity to build spaceships and set up a colony on another planet but they are evil and greedy; evil enough to level the forests of Pandora and mine their land empty. The navi however survive by instinct and physical capabilities. It'd be pretty much impossible for a human to wrestle an ikran to the ground or climb some 1,000 feet to the top of the Halleluiah Mountains. The navi's little nerve ending/connector thingey on the end of their hair proves that they are a much more corporeal and sensual species than humans. Witl the bond, they can feel the exact emotions of another being. Perhaps thats why the navi never advanced technologically... they really didn't need to and thay didn't want to. Humans rely so much on their technology because they can't quite feel for others and rely on others the way the navi do and technology dosen't require sympathy. The navi can get by just as well if not better than humans because thay can see others on a whole different level. The navi are also in a sense much more innocent than humans because they have those feelings for others. In short, the navi are a species that rely on istincts, physical capabilites and feelings.

Ah, nuts! Thanks for catching that, Michael. Black actually absorbs all light. I can't believe I forgot that. I think what I was trying to say is that black allows hair, nails and skin to be tougher. For example, dark hooves on a horse will not wear out as quickly as light colored hooves. In human evolution, people who lived on or near the equator tended to have dark hair and skin. Dark pigmentation allows the keratin to be much more durable and resilient to the effects of the sun.

Another difference, IMHO, is that most humans would love to experience life through a Na'vi body whereas a Na'vi would hate to experience life through a human body.

Here is the differences that i've noticed.

HUMANS: five fingers and toes. no striping, or a tail. ears are rounder, and have little to no motor-control. Small eyes, and nose. No queue. Ape-like. No opposable toes. About half the height of a Na’vi. various colored hair/skin. Hairy bodies.

NA’VI: Twice the height of a human. Tails. Striped skin. Blue skin and black hair . Opposable toes. Queue. Cat-like. Large eyes, ears, long face, thin build. Four digit hands and feet. Prominent cat-like nose. Little body hair, no brows, and eye lashes. Reinforced bones. bioluminescent markings.

What separates a Human body from a Na'vi body is not color, height, hair, fingers and toes, tails, ears, nor any other various features mentioned above. Humans come in a variety of colors, heights, hair styles, and builds. Humans can also occasionally have various numbers of toes and fingers through birth defects. Ears, nose, tail, face and body structure can just as easily be dismissed through said defects or augmentation.

In all relativity, a Human body is not all that different from a Na'vi body in function, in aptitude, and in the fundamental quality of adaptation to their environment. The only feature that eludes this reasoning is the Na'vi Queue.

However...

It would be interesting if William Shakespeare could see AVATAR. "What a piece of work is a Na'vi, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like Eywa."

Many devoted fans of AVATAR are transfixed by the Na'vi with the same sense of awe and reverence that Shakespeare had looked upon man with.

How we are different is a Human trademark of thinking. How we are the same is a Na'vi perspective.
